Sunday at Moyo and hail summer storm

At  Moyo at Zoo lake. They have a lot of music; this acapella trio, a djembe esemble, and a band outside playing Zouk, with a kalimba (a thumb organ), steel drum, and more djembe... Festive !
Henna Tattoos... for Luna, butterflies, and for León , a tribal pattern, from Jimmy a very cool Zambian. And a free one for Ana.
We have met some of the nicest people in South Africa and from all the colors of the rainbow. Zoo lake is a meeting and hanging out place.
The clouds are rolling in. Would it be bikes or boats?
A tumultuous hail/rain/thunder and lightening storm would ensure that our afternoon, post meal, would be spent observing Mother Nature as Her best.
We all huddled under the canopy of the boathouse like frightened blesbok while streams of rainwater furrowed temporary channels from the hills, past us, and into the lake.
Tons of H2O in a matter of 15 minutes making Jozi a green city. Perfect for Parktown Prawns with their exoskeletons.

The storm significantly cooled down everything and since it had been so hot for so long, clouds of steam bellowed up from the lake; turning the whole scene a bit surreal.

Hail covered the ground like snow.
