Sunday Brunch at Z U M A

Do you remember when we told you that we were going to go with our parents and tía Isa to Zuma to celebrate our father’s birthday? Well, it didn’t happen…they went by themselves saying that they could only book a table for 2…go figure if it was really true!

The good news is that they like the restaurant and the food so much that they felt they would like to try Zuma’s famous Sunday Brunch with us…and we did and had a great time!! Beyond the long counter of sushi, maki rolls, and sashimi, the highlight of the place is the playroom…mind you, it is not big, but it is packed with toys and cool vehicles and you don’t have to worry about entertaining your parents since they get unlimited flowing sake, Perrier Jouet and bellinis. That I call good service! By the time they brought this huge platter filled with ice cream, chocolate mousse, cakes and Japanese custards, they were so drunk they didn’t mind us having absolutely all of it!!

We also did great socializing in the playroom and met plenty of other sets of siblings dressed in their best Sunday attire…talking about being well dressed… we were wearing matching Sri Lankan clothes that Roshani had had made for us in Sri Lanka and mami was too! We looked good and we believe the people around us really appreciated our sartorial efforts…too cute to look at!
Enjoy the pics…not great quality since we didn’t bring our real camera, but who wants to waste time taking photos when there is so much to eat and drink.

I love this photo because it looks like a painting. Luna is such a good model for my portraits

We loved the sea urchin croquettes
